When installing Radon Mitigation Systems in Merrill, the most often used in our area is called Depressurized Sub-slab Mitigation. This remediation technique is very much recommended by U.S. EPA. This preferred remediation method does a fantistic job performing radon gas remediation.

When a contractor determines how a sub-slab system will be installed, one of the first facts that is determined is to find out if the house has or had drain tiles installed when built. If that house has these drain tiles, it would be determined that radon will be easier to mitigate. Sometimes, the determination of  drain tiles existing will not effect the total cost of a remediation system. However Minocqua Radon Mitigation & Testing does not price our systems this way.

A radon reduction system will be installed through the attic or garage. However, if it is determined that the system needs to run on the exterior of the house, a different way of installing it will take place. Minocqua Radon Mitigation & Testing will ask a some questions during the phone conversation. How questions are answered during this conversation will determine if any additional questioning is neccasary.

Minocqua Radon Mitigation & Testing will ask what style sump pump is being used in the home. Certain sump pumps can remain and be implemented with the radon system and other types cannot.

Once all aspects are determined an email or mailed detailed radon mitigation proposal will be issued
